Little Saints

My Take –

Little Saints drew me in with their promise of a beverage that tased like tequila and mezcal. Sign me up! I have been on the hunt for 0% alternatives that truly give a tequila or mezcal taste. Most seem to use agave and lime, but that’s too thin and more along the lines of a light Blanco tequila. (I prefer more flavor to mine.)

Their website has few details about their ingredients and offerings. The beverage that drew me in is Little Saints St. Ember. The bottle label says it is a bespoke non-alcoholic spirit with a lot of spice and a little smoke, and a curious blend of palo santo, ginger, cardamom, and lion’s mane mushrooms.

Mushrooms seem to be the main ingredient carried through the offerings. They also have cans of Negroni Spritz, Paloma, Spicy Margarita, and Ginger Mule. I’m not able to find any of their items on Amazon as of time of publication.

I’d love to try them and give a review, but it looks like I’ll have to wait a bit to get my Prime Delivery!

From the KetoneAid website:

With a lot of spice and a little smoke, St. Ember delights even the most discerning of paletes with its bespoke blend of ginger, peppers and wild, woody palo santo.

Infused with 100 mg lion’s mane mushroom per serving, St. Ember inspires light musings and deep conversations.

It’s that warm, sunny day. It’s that sexy hotel pool. It’s the sound of that surf. It’s our Spicy Marg. Non-alcoholic, so hot…and so cool. Sensory notes of juicy lime, mild jalapeno, orange blossom; visually yellow like the sunset (colored by turmeric). Best served on ice in a rocks glass, jalapeno garnish optional.

“Little Saints was born during the pandemic as an antidote to my drinking too much alcohol and feeling terrible about it. Having spent pretty much my entire adult life as a cocktail enthusiast, I ignored the initial signs that alcohol was doing more harm than good to my body and my mind.” – Megan Klein, Founder
