My Take –
I opened this bottle for New Year’s and celebrated with a little bit of bubbly for 2024.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of bubbles in the glass, although they didn’t do the standard streaming lines like a Champagne might. The taste was a touch on the sweeter side, but not sweet in general. It didn’t have the creamy mouthfeel or dryness that I like in a Brut.
At approximately $15 USD (if I’m remembering correctly, I’ve had two in my wine cellar for a while now) this is a great buy for a touch of fun and bubbles on the weekend or for special occasions.
