This is a drink recipe developed by Genevieve Keller for The Brixyard for the Cocktail of the Month series
A tangy non-alcoholic twist on the classic Paloma, featuring Notas de Agave Tequila Spirit. This refreshing mocktail captures the vibrant flavors of grapefruit and lime, delivering a zesty and satisfying drink perfect for any occasion. With a delightful blend of tangy citrus and a hint of agave, it offers a sophisticated, alcohol-free alternative that everyone can enjoy.

An ideal choice for summer gatherings, brunches, or simply as a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Notas de Agave Tequila Spirit
  • 2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Club soda or sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Grapefruit wedge and lime wheel for garnish
  • Salt (optional, for rimming the glass)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass:
    • If you like a salted rim, rub a grapefruit wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip the rim into a small plate of salt. I prefer Margarita Salt with a touch of citrus in the salt.
  2. Mix the Drink:
    • Fill the glass with ice.
    • Pour in the Notas de Agave Tequila Spirit, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
    • Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  3. Top with Sparkling Water:
    • Top off the drink with club soda or sparkling water, giving it a gentle stir. I prefer seltzer water.
  4. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and a lime wheel.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
