Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
  • 1/2 cup honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

Make the Lavender Infusion:
In a small saucepan, bring 3/4 cup of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add the dried lavender flowers, cover, and let steep for about 20 minutes to create a lavender infusion.
Strain the infusion through a fine mesh to remove the lavender flowers, and let it cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Lemonade:
In a large pitcher, combine the lavender infusion and honey, stirring well until the honey is completely dissolved.
Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and stir to mix thoroughly.

Dilute and Chill:
Add 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher, stirring well to blend all the ingredients. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if needed.
Refrigerate the lemonade until it's chilled, or if serving immediately, use plenty of ice to cool it down.

Serve:
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the lavender honey lemonade over the ice.
Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a sprig of lavender for an aromatic and visually appealing touch.

Enjoy:
Sip and enjoy the calming and refreshing flavors of your Lavender Honey Lemonade, a perfect non-alcoholic treat that captures the essence of spring in every glass.

Tips:

  • If you prefer a stronger lavender flavor, you can increase the amount of dried lavender or steeping time. Just be cautious, as too much can overpower the other flavors.
  • For an extra touch of elegance, create lemon and lavender ice cubes by adding a small piece of lemon and a lavender bud to each section of an ice cube tray before filling with water and freezing.
  • This lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days, making it a convenient option for advance preparation.
